Lando Norris put in the most dominant display of the year in Zandvoort, taking a comfortable pole on Saturday before an emphatic drive on Sunday saw him win with the biggest margin of the season – and take the fastest lap on the final tour as well, emphasising his Dutch dominance. But there’s one part of his weekend that still needs working on: his race starts.
Zandvoort was Lando’s sixth start from pole in Formula 1. He’s had four Grand Prix poles and two Sprint poles, and in the Netherlands he kept up his gloomy statistic of not actually converting any of them into a Lap 1 lead.
